	Known by many people as Perspex, acrylic has been used for signs, display and glazing and is perfect for printing in reverse giving the graphic a high gloss encapsulated look that is ideal for photographs (portraits, lifestyle images) and bright, colourful images. To give opacity to the image prints on acrylic are usually backed up with white vinyl film - although leaving this off creates a stained glass like effect. The non-reflective satin finish acrylic gives a softer, diffused look to the graphic for instances where decorative values are more important than simple functionality.
